We had a problem with our 19-year-old ducted air conditioning system and were looking around for parts or for someone who could repair it. One company said it wasn’t worth fixing and that it would be better to buy a whole new system. Another company recommended Jaric, so we gave them a call.

From that first conversation onwards, Jaric was great. Their office team was very helpful. We were used to dealing with abrupt staff in other companies, so that was another deciding factor for us.

When it came to the quote, the Jaric team knew it would have been a massive cost to go with a completely new system. They listened to what we wanted and came up with a solution that involved using part of our existing system to save us money. We said ok, give us a quote!

Jaric suggested the systems that would work best for us. They also looked at where to put the unit so it would have the least impact on the household – away from bedrooms etc – even though that involved a lot more work for them.

Their quote was very reasonable, so we decided to go ahead.  We had a call from Jaric to tell us what time the tradesmen would be arriving, and they turned up exactly to the minute! That made a pleasant change from tradespeople never showing up on time and often keeping us waiting for ages.

They are a very organised bunch at Jaric and the installers worked quickly and thoroughly, and even in the middle of a heatwave, our system was installed on time. There was no impact on our life whatsoever and they were professional, courteous, helpful… and removed their rubbish afterward!

We were well briefed on how to operate the system and they came back to check on how we were going and made a small alteration.

I have been using Jaric Electrical as one of our preferred tradespeople for quite some time and have found them to be very reliable, priced competitively and they do a good job. They communicate well with both us and our tenants. I am happy to recommend them.

As a property manager we need to have reliable and friendly people attend rental properties and Jaric Air Conditioning Services does both of these.  I have found the work to be professional and done in a timely manner which is essential to keep the tenants and owners happy.

Jobs get done quickly, which is good when we’re dealing with tenants who have issues with their property’s electrical. We found Jaric many years ago through our local business networking group here in the Redlands and have been using them ever since. We love the convenience of dealing with a local business and it supports our community.

It’s great to work directly with a smaller business as we build up a relationship with the team. The girls in the office are great and John, the owner of Jaric makes himself available at any time for us. If we have questions or concerns, we can talk it through with John or one of the electricians. You don’t get that type of service with a large company.

It’s convenient to have the Jaric team deal directly with our tenants. Not having to be in the middle of conversations saves a great deal of time. We always get great reports back from our tenants.

Jaric’s pricing is also competitive, both on instals and servicing. They’ve created a price list of their most common services. We use that often with our landlords and it saves having to make a call or wait for quotes to come through.

Our landlords usually want two or three quotes for a larger job such as installing air-conditioning. Eight out of ten times, the job goes to Jaric as their prices are absolutely competitive.

We feel we can trust Jaric to look after us.

We started using Jaric in June 2021 after a client referred them to us. She had been extremely happy with her air conditioning installation, so we decided to add them to our trades list.

The word that comes to mind most when I think of Jaric is efficiency. Not dealing with a big company is an efficient use of our time. I speak directly with an electrician at Jaric. They explain the job to us so we can explain it to the owner. I can then present options to the owner. It saves going back and forth with information. They understand our process and that makes it easier.

As well as efficiency, I find Jaric’s pricing to be very reasonable. They’re extremely competitive and don’t try and oversell me. They’ll even tell me if there are other solutions that would save a call-out fee. If needed, they will try and get everything fixed at once to save an additional call-out. Another time saver is that Jaric always invoices us on time which is efficient as we know the job is complete and we can then invoice our client.

Jaric contacts our tenants to organise the time to complete a job. We just send Jaric the work order and they liaise directly with them. It means we’re not bouncing back and forth between contractor and tenant which saves everyone a great deal of time.

Apart from efficiency and competitive pricing, it would have to be their availability that keeps us coming back. We’ve used them more lately because they’ve made themselves available to do the job. We feel we can trust Jaric to look after us.

When we decided to have our home airconditioned, we were on a tight budget. A leaflet for Jaric arrived in the letterbox and I stuck it on my billboard. I liked that they’re a local business as we want to support our community. We wanted to get the whole house done in stages. We saved enough to have three units installed, then two months later we refinanced our house and was able to get the rest done.

In between, my parents were looking to get air-conditioning throughout their house. My Dad is a retired builder and a perfectionist. He’s also a bargain hunter and usually gets five or six quotes when he’s getting a job done. He’s also not afraid of talking people down on price either. I said to him “Dad, the people at Jaric are the real deal and they’ll look after you.” He trusted me and went with them and has been really happy.

Jaric first did my air con at home, and I was so pleased with their service that I felt confident to use them as a supplier in my business. We’ve used them at Jim’s Pool Care for 3 years now.

Jaric have wired up pool heaters, pool pump circuits, and pool fence earthing for us, working both on new pools and upgrades. They can set up a complete power system right back to the switchboard.

Their staff are great. Even the service guys at the counter know what they are talking about, which is very helpful during a project. They always keep us updated on timeframes and planning when they work with us.

The Jaric team are proactive. They don’t let things stall, and they don’t try and “just replace” something that doesn’t work. If they can repair it, and save money for a customer, they’ll do that.

The other difference with these guys and other electricians I have used is their communication. I really find it makes my job easier when I know what’s going on.

The Jaric team do tidy work when they’re on site. That’s good for our customers, and we always get very favourable comments.

We’ve worked with Jaric for 5 years now. Our relationship is more with heating – we plumb in the heat pumps and Jaric then handle the electrical side of things.

The team are very good and efficient, and they’re always quick to get the work done. Our customers always comment about how good it is as well – which is important for us as we are a customer focussed business. We haven’t had one complaint, just happy customers.

Jaric has awesome staff. They’re professional, friendly, and always fill you in on what’s happening. We’re very happy with the service.

We’ve used other electricians in the past, but they were nowhere near Jaric’s standard. I’d say just ring ’em up… you can be absolutely confident that they will do a good job at a fair price.

​BRILLIANT… I first dealt with this amazing group of people when I posted on FB asking for help with an aircon remote… they reached out to me, which they didn’t have to. They gave me advice on troubleshooting the issue, and also offered a remote if I was unable to fix the remote myself. I took them up on their offer, and was supplied TWO remotes for the (very cheap) price of one… John was SO NICE… as in, a genuinely good bloke… we needed air con in two rooms, and because he was so genuine I brought forward the plan for aircon install. Terry came out, was a deadset nice bloke too. He took me through everything, understood my needs and everything went off without a hitch. For a very reasonable price.

You know how you need a good doctor/butcher etc.. These guys are your good aircon crew, and I won’t go anywhere else for all my aircon needs. 100% recommend you check them out. You will not be disappointed!

Jaric have supplied Calamvale Community College with around 15 air cons over the last couple of years. They’re experienced with schools and they understand what’s needed in the classroom. We keep going back to them because of their good service and great prices.

Their sales guy Terry has given me his direct number, so I can always get things done quickly as needed. He always responds quickly and if I leave a message, I’m guaranteed a call back – that can be rare with tradies.

We know Terry and we know the Jaric boys. They know the school and how we like work to work – for example, we do have certain times when services can’t get in because of classes, and Jaric are happy to work around that to make it happen. Then Terry will drop in when the install is happening to check I’m happy with everything.

We have looked around and Jaric’s prices are very competitive. They represent the best value with good quality and we know it’s done right every time.

Just wanted to take a minute to write you a thank you email. I called up and spoke to one of your staff (sorry, I cannot recall his name) just after you guys got back from Xmas break, and explained my very niche A/C problem (a problem with a discontinued brand of A/C – you guys are the only ones in North Brisbane I could find who even knew about it).

I received my universal remote in the post the same week and after cycling through the many codes was pleasantly surprised that it connected to the unit and I now have a functioning A/C again, and not a $1.5k+ replacement cost.

I just want to let you know that I am very happy with the MHI ducted A/C from Jaric.  Dylan and Alex did a fantastic job installing the system at our place today.  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the initial discussion on where the vents would be placed to the placement of the compressor, Dylan listened to my requirements and views and was very professional throughout.

John’s business is primarily for the commercial market, but he took the time to come out to my place for a small residential job (he is based in Capalaba, I’m in Paddington).  A summary of the circumstances as follows:

1. John was recommended to me from one of his competitors (as the competitor could not meet my desired timeframe).  I just moved into new digs at Paddington.  The vendors (via the selling agent) made us aware that the existing ducted a/c unit was redundant and needed replacing.  They had reportedly had an a/c ‘expert’ look over the system, who advised to replace.  We factored this into our price (i.e. negotiated down);
2. John was very professional and helpful over the phone and advised a cost of circa $13,000 to $15,000 to replace the existing unit with the new (top of line) Mitsubishi unit I had chosen, subject to inspection of the existing system;
3. On Monday this week, John spent about an hour looking over the existing system.  Toward the end, and as a pre-caution, he did a quick ‘maintenance’ check of the ‘redundant’ unit.  In under 10 minutes, he identified the problem, fixed it and the a/c was working.  It appears the ‘expert’ the vendors relied on weren’t ‘expert’ after all;
4. I asked John to send me a bill for his time (as the original purpose of his visit was not chargeable), and I paid him double as he saved me at least $13,000.  He could have easily taken me for $13,000-$15,000 for the new unit, but he did the right thing.

I rarely write these type of emails, but was suitably impressed with John’s service and will certainly go back to him when my current unit does finally break down (which John advises will likely be in 3-7 years).

No pressure, just thought I’d send his details as it’s rare (in my experience) to get this level of honesty and service.

I just wanted to thank you and your team for going above and beyond to find an A/C solution for our House. After contacting three other companies that wouldn’t even attend the premises to view the house, instead asking for photos to be sent of where I wanted the A/C placed and then telling me i needed an extra pump for an additional cost or that it was just impossible. No such issue with you guys.

We have been using Jaric Air Conditioning since they began operation and have always received professional advice and quality service. Just before Christmas last, I was looking for an electrician who would be able to install aircon in my house. With coming across JARIC airconditioning, and chatting with John my worries were sorted.

John Rica has completed 2 air conditioner installations for me over the past few years. The latest one at Cornubia was completed in January 2018. The installation was completed on budget and in the time frame quoted. The workmanship was also first class. I have no hesitation in using John again for any future installation.
