This switchboard upgrade Alexandra Hills project involved modernising the home’s main switchboard, meter wiring and circuit protection.

Jaric Air Conditioning and Electrical’s licensed electricians isolated the mains power before removing the existing switchboard equipment and installing a new load centre.

The existing circuit breakers were replaced with combination MCB/RCD safety breakers, providing individual overload, short-circuit and safety-switch protection across the property’s sub-circuits.

The meter wiring was also upgraded to meet current Energex requirements.

Once the new equipment was installed, our electricians tested each sub-circuit throughout the property and completed a visual inspection of the electrical installation. The switchboard was then safely energised and the new equipment tested to confirm correct operation.

The completed switchboard upgrade in Alexandra Hills provided the homeowner with modern circuit protection and an updated electrical distribution system, while ensuring the new switchgear and associated circuits were properly tested before completion.
