Commercial Rooftop Air Conditioning Replacement at BCF Capalaba

This commercial air conditioning replacement Capalaba project involved replacing BCF’s ageing rooftop package system with a new 26.5kW Daikin inverter unit

Following a detailed site inspection, Jaric Air Conditioning and Electrical recommended a Daikin UAYQ90CY1A inverter rooftop package system, providing 26.5kW cooling and 25.7kW heating capacity.

Because the existing system was positioned on the roof, the project required careful planning and specialised lifting. A crane arrived onsite at 5:00am to remove the old unit and lift the new Daikin system safely into position.

Jaric decommissioned and disposed of the existing air conditioner before installing the replacement system. New external sheet-metal transitions and plenums were installed, the return-air connection was modified and the new equipment was integrated with suitable existing ductwork and ceiling grilles.

A new system controller was also installed before the unit was energised, commissioned and thoroughly tested.

The completed commercial air conditioning replacement in Capalaba provided BCF with a new rooftop system while allowing suitable existing infrastructure to remain in place, reducing unnecessary replacement work and disruption to the site.
