Commercial Air Conditioning Replacement Kallangur Medical Centre

Project Description

Client: Kallangur Medical Centre

Location: Kallangur

Year Completed: 2026

Project Brief:

Three Commercial Ducted Air Conditioning Replacements at Kallangur Medical Centre

This commercial air conditioning replacement in Kallangur involved upgrading three ageing APAC ducted air conditioning systems at Kallangur Medical Centre.

The existing units were operating with R22 refrigerant and had reached the point where replacement of the equipment was recommended.

Jaric Air Conditioning and Electrical supplied and installed three new Mitsubishi Electric three-phase ducted air conditioning systems, upgrading the medical centre’s existing rooftop equipment.

The project included:

  • A/C11: Existing 14kW APAC system replaced with a new 14kW Mitsubishi Electric ducted system.
  • A/C12: Existing 19kW APAC system replaced with a new 18kW Mitsubishi Electric ducted system.
  • A/C13: Existing 26kW APAC system replaced with a new 25kW Mitsubishi Electric ducted system.

Jaric decommissioned and removed the existing rooftop units before using a crane lift to safely remove the old equipment and position the new Mitsubishi Electric systems.

Each installation included new return-air and supply-air plenums, refrigerant pipework modifications and reconnection, condensate drain reconfiguration and required interconnecting electrical upgrades.

New weatherproof power isolators were also installed before each air conditioning system was tested, commissioned and checked for correct operation.

The completed commercial air conditioning replacement at Kallangur Medical Centre upgraded three ageing rooftop systems to modern Mitsubishi Electric ducted equipment while reconnecting the new systems to suitable existing infrastructure.
