This ducted air conditioning installation Coorparoo project, involved replacing the existing system with a new Mitsubishi Heavy Industries reverse-cycle inverter ducted system designed to provide zoned comfort across the upstairs living and bedroom areas.
Jaric Air Conditioning and Electrical removed the existing indoor and outdoor units before installing a new Mitsubishi Heavy Industries FDUA160AVNXWVH-Set ducted system, delivering 16.5kW cooling and 18.0kW heating capacity.
The indoor unit was installed within the central ceiling space, while the new outdoor unit was positioned at ground level at the rear of the home, replacing the existing Daikin outdoor unit location and mounted on a concrete base as requested by the customer.
The new system was configured with five zones and seven outlets, allowing individual control across the home:
The system was designed to provide comfort conditions across the main day-use areas, including Zones 1, 3, 4 and 5 operating simultaneously.
As part of the ducted installation, Jaric supplied and installed new ducting, plenums, return-air components, refrigerant pipework, interconnecting cables, system wiring, controller and supply breaker.
Drainage was also routed to the nearest suitable downpipe before the new equipment was energised, commissioned and tested for correct operation.
The completed ducted air conditioning installation in Coorparoo provided the home with a modern, zoned reverse-cycle system with built-in Wi-Fi, giving the occupants greater control over comfort throughout the property.
