Project Description

Client: Residential Customer

Location: Petrie

Year Completed: 2026

Project Brief:

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Split System Replacement

During an inspection of the customer’s existing Kelvinator split system, Jaric Air Conditioning and Electrical technicians identified that both printed circuit boards in the outdoor unit had failed and required replacement. The indoor unit fan motor bearings were also becoming increasingly noisy, indicating further wear within the motor assembly.

With multiple major components requiring repair, replacing the ageing system was determined to be the most economical and reliable long-term solution for the homeowner.

Our team decommissioned and removed the existing indoor and outdoor units before supplying and installing a complete Mitsubishi Heavy Industries CIARA Reverse Cycle Inverter Split System, model DXK09ZTLA-WF-Set.

To ensure the new system was installed correctly and would operate reliably, we also replaced the necessary installation materials, including the refrigerant pipework, duct covering, interconnecting cables, outdoor isolation switch, condenser mounting equipment and power supply cables.

Once installed, the new system was commissioned and tested to confirm safe and efficient operation.

The completed installation provided the customer with a modern, energy-efficient reverse-cycle air conditioning system, improved indoor comfort and greater confidence in the long-term reliability of their home cooling and heating.
